GUIDE TO SETTING UP EMAIL ON ANDROID

Here’s a step-by-step tutorial to set up email accounts in the Android email app:

On your Android device, open the «Settings» app.

Scroll down and tap on «Accounts».

Tap on «Add account».

Select «Email» to manually add the account.

Enter your email address and the password associated with the account.

Example account: myemail@mycompany.com.br
Password (you can copy and paste from the WhatsApp message that the TecnoPage consultant sent).

Tap «Next» and wait for your credentials to be verified.

If your account wasn’t compatible with the automatic setup, a screen will be displayed asking if you want to add the account manually or use automatic setup. Select «Manual setup».

On the manual setup screen, make sure «IMAP» is selected as the account type.

In «Incoming server», make sure «SSL» is enabled and the port is «993».

The incoming server, as a standard for all our clients, would be the subdomain mail.company.com.py where company.com.py is the client’s domain.

For example, if your company’s domain is: petshop.com.py, enter in the incoming server: mail.petshop.com.py

In «Outgoing server», make sure «SSL» is enabled and the port is «465».

The outgoing server, as a standard for all our clients, would be the subdomain mail.company.com.py where company.com.py is the client’s domain.

For example, if your company’s domain is: petshop.com.py, enter in the outgoing server: mail.petshop.com.py

Tap «Next» and wait for the settings to be verified.

If everything is set up correctly, you will see a screen that says «Account verified» and you can choose which elements of the account to synchronize with your Android device.

That’s it! Now you should be able to send and receive emails in the Android email app. If you have trouble with the setup, make sure you entered your email address and associated account password correctly. Also make sure you entered the incoming and outgoing server settings correctly.
